In February of 2019, COR Engineering responded to a RFP or request for proposal for the City of Windsor, Colorado. The scope of the project was to provide design and construction support for a blower replacement. As the scope was primarily electrical, COR Engineering took the lead of our team. Our team consisted of IMEG and CCMS. During this project our team handled the design of the whole project for the replacement of one of the aeration blowers.
The project included the removal of one centrifugal blower and the replacement of it with a High-Speed Turbo blower or HST. Throughout the project and electrical engineering design, there were some change orders. Through one of these change orders our scope increased to include electrical engineering and support for the replacement of their current transformer since it was undersized according to the utility.
Finally from mid to late 2020, we closed out the project, although the ideal schedule kept getting delayed.
